Backlit signs are an excellent choice for drawing attention and playing with light to create captivating displays.
These signs are primarily made from acrylic due to its transparency, which allows the light to diffuse beautifully through the material.
This creates an art-like visual effect that enhances the overall impact of the signage.
Nota Bene:
Our sign engraving and cutting software Gravostyle™ features a function that automates the placement of LEDs inside shapes or letters for optimum light rendering.

Indoor signs are generally smaller and thinner than outdoor signs, as they are created by simply using your sign engraving machine to engrave and cut out the engraving material.
These signs can be used to decorate a reception area or counter, or any other sales point, adding a touch of professionalism and aesthetic appeal to the space.
They serve various purposes, such as providing detailed information about products or general information like opening hours and payment methods.
Indoor signs enhance customer experience by making information easily accessible and creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Discover Laser WoodPoint-of-sale displays are simple assemblies of cut materials. They can be created using a simple sign engraving machine.
They serve as effective communication tools for presenting products or services, often featuring engraved information on the display.
Dedicated to restaurants, events, and trade shows, these displays can be easily repositioned and placed on tables, sales counters, store shelves, and more by your employees.

Discover Laser Wood rangeProduct displays are often made from transparent acrylic without any engraving, designed to highlight the product itself.
Visually similar to glass but more resistant, they are dedicated to presenting the product by holding it in a specific position, showcasing its features and aesthetics.
These displays are particularly advantageous for counters and display cases, notably in jewelry and souvenir stores where visual appeal plays a pivotal role in attracting and captivating customers.

Discover our transparent AcrylicsIn addition to the traditional two-layer engraving materials, acrylic, wood and metal, some point-of-sale displays can be made from paper, cardboard or aluminum composite panels.
Paper and cardboard are inexpensive materials that can be easily printed on, resulting in a high-end appearance. They are perfect for entry-level, temporary, or light displays.
Paper and cardboard displays are compatible with our laser sign engraving machines, which are quick and easy to set up.
Aluminum composite panels, commonly known as Dibond, are an excellent choice for both indoor and outdoor visual communication signage.
Lightweight yet durable, this material offers perfect printing quality and is well-suited for screen printing.
However, Dibond cannot be laser cut: It can only be cut using a mechanical CNC sign making machine and engraved with rotary technology.
It is the ideal material for practicing Print & Cut with UV printing.
Bending acrylic with a laser is a slightly more advanced process that involves defocusing the laser beam.
By tracing with a defocused laser, no engraving or cutting marks are left, as the laser sign engraving machine is not powerful enough for cutting. However, it heats the acrylic, causing it to deform under its own weight.
This method provides an aesthetic solution that eliminates the need to assemble cut shapes, especially with transparent acrylic.
Using a laser is the easiest way to fold paper or cardboard.
Simply draw dotted cutting lines in the software, and start your sign engraving machine; the non-continuous cut will enable easy, clean folding by hand, even over long distances.
Folding wood is similar to folding paper, using the dotted line principle. However, due to the thickness of the wood, a more complex pattern is needed.
Unlike paper, achieving a 90° angle is not feasible, as it can tear the wood fibers. To create a curved bend, multiple dotted lines must be cut close together.
Print with a UV printer and achieve precise cuts using an engraving and cutting machine.
With the Print & Cut function, you can flawlessly cut any printed material into any shape, following the edge of the print.
This feature is perfect for small-scale visual communication signage and point-of-sale displays. It comes standard on all our laser and CNC sign making machines.
